Join us on our FUNdraising walks with a difference as we strive to achieve our mission of saving lives through sport, by building and donating pink benches to sports clubs.
If you’ve not seen our bright pink benches around, then the difference with these over normal sports venue benches is that ours have QR codes on them with free and accessible well-being resources at the click of your phone. Nobody should sit at a bench and feel alone, or that they have nowhere to turn when things get tough.

The Bench2Bench Walks
The Story Behind The Walk
Like all good stories, it started at the end of the bar at a community rugby club. ”I wonder if…….” and the bench2bench walk was born.
On the 27th of September 2025, a group of 25 people took on the bench2bench challenge and walked 40 miles from RTB Ebbw Vale Bowls Club to Old Penarthians Rugby Club. They passed through 8 Speakeasy benches along the way, raising nearly £5,000 for charity and having several meaningful and powerful conversations all along the way.
The physical and mental challenge was made easier by looking after each other when things got tough and championing each other’s achievements throughout. it was something that all 25 involved couldn’t appreciate at the start of the challenge, but in the end, it was an experience to last a lifetime. So, as we head into 2025, we’ve set up 4 charity walks to engage more people, create more meaningful conversations and showcase the power of community on people’s health and wellbeing. Meet you at the bench….
The Big Bench2Bench Walk
Walking Wales
260 miles. 25 community clubs. One mission.
We’re walking the length of Wales — from Holyhead Hotspur to Sully Sports FC — to highlight the life-saving power of grassroots sport and deliver free mental health resources directly to community clubs.
Because clubs do more than play sport.
They create belonging. They give purpose. They notice when someone doesn’t show up.
Too many people are struggling silently — and too many clubs don’t have the tools to support them. Prevention should live where people already show up.
Why We’re Walking
Every step funds free, practical mental health resources for clubs — giving coaches, volunteers and players the confidence to start conversations before crisis hits.
At each stop, we’ll provide:
-
Speakeasy balls with QR access to support
-
A club-coloured bench or barrel with embedded resources
-
Posters and signposting materials
-
Free online mental health training

Making A Difference
Getting into the community to share our mission is crucial in normalising conversations about empathy, curiosity, and vulnerability in sport. By engaging with local sports clubs and fostering open dialogues, we can create an environment where athletes feel comfortable expressing their emotions and supporting one another. Encouraging curiosity and empathy not only strengthens team bonds but also promotes personal growth and mental well-being. Join us in this movement to transform the culture of sports into one where every athlete feels seen, heard, and valued. Together, we can make a difference.
