Another wonderfully brilliant 6 nations charity night last Saturday with @byrney15 & @Shanewilliams
Thanks to the 80 people who joined us and thanks to your generosity we raised just over £800 in support of Barry RFC.
A few takeaways from me:
- ‘’ I didn’t prepare for life after rugby, the first few years were a bit of a fog – it’s a short career as a rugby player and people forget that’’ @byrney15
- ‘’ Lockdown was hard being isolated away from everyone, rugby you’re with the boys all the time…you work with people you trust and I trust these boys’’ @shanewilliams
- ‘’ I Scored 5 tries in my first game and thought, this is easier than football!’’
A credit to themselves and rugby in Wales.
Thanks to Lee for bringing his 2009 @britishlions jersey against the Royal XI and to Shane for bringing his last Ospreys jersey in the Pro12 final vs Leinster in 2012.
Big thanks to the committee; Chairman John, Colin, Chugga, Big Tom, John Anthony and of course DJ Craig.

Like yesterday’s post, today could be a potentially defining day in the history of Welsh Rugby. Support the players for all the memories they give us off the pitch, so they can enjoy their memories off the pitch.
